About the event
As part of the 2025 Black Women in Architecture (BWA) Brunch, Noir Design Parti (NDP) is hosting a special event in Detroit, featuring both a local gathering and a national virtual component. The in-person brunch will start at 11:30am. Meanwhile, Detroit event, nearly 10 individuals and organizations across 10 different states will host their own simultaneous satellite brunches, creating a nationwide celebration. Starting at 1pm, attendees can join the virtual portion of the event, followed by a panel spotlighting Black women architects from Detroit—recorded live for our podcast.
UN SUSTAINABILITY GOALS
We use Detroit's UNESCO City of Design designation as a call to action for Detroiters to embrace the Sustainable Development Goals in their own communities, contributing to the active effort of solving global interconnected issues.
