About the event
This workshop will allow attendees to develop a logo for their own business. You will be challenged to only using up to two colors (not including black and white). The session will consist of sketching and bringing the concept of your business to fruition, creating mood boards for inspiration, and transferring those sketches to Adobe Illustrator. This first session will end with a constructive critique. On the second day participants will move forward with mock-ups/renderings of their logo for case study. At the end of the day participants will present their process and concept and discuss the work that went into their logo. This workshop is a great opportunity for creatives to develop the direction you need to make a logo.

About Natalia Tortora Design
Natalia Tortora Design is a graphic design and interior consulting business in Detroit founded in 2013. Natalia is an alumna of Michigan State University. Her branding work at Brushery (a boutique dentist office in Brusher Park, Detroit) opened in March 2024. Her clients range from automotive start-ups to hospitality and restaurants. Natalia also teaches graphic design at Oakland University.
