About the event
A powerful, multidimensional event that unveils the design vision for a groundbreaking new Latin arts and cultural campus rooted in internationalism, community, activism and cultural equity. This evening will feature a vibrant installation series spotlighting the work of emerging artists from Detroit—storytellers and visionaries whose practices are reshaping the cultural landscape with authenticity and urgency.
As we present early design concepts and community-driven plans for the campus, we’ll also host a dynamic panel discussion that brings together local artists, cultural organizers, and thought leaders. Together, we’ll explore the critical issues facing legacy Detroiters and artists of color in accessing, curating, and sustaining space within the arts ecosystem—where their work is not only seen, but valued, and where their histories and narratives are preserved and expressed on their own terms.
This event is more than a presentation—it’s an invitation to co-create a future where Detroit’s creative community thrives on its own…
