The Our House exhibition highlights the creative practices of Wayne State University art and design faculty, alumni, and collaborators in Detroit and beyond. The exhibition organizes the gallery into a series of domestic spaces that highlight designed art, objects, and conversations. Featuring an eclectic body of work collaboratively curated into environments designed by faculty, the exhibition will evoke the intimate and familiar atmosphere of home, with artworks arranged to refer to specific domestic spaces. Visitors are invited to explore the intersection of art and designed objects, products of our creative community, within these environments, as well as participate in dialogues and workshops led by faculty and creative partners.
