Sketchbattle SNKR is the first-ever sneaker-focused edition of the world’s only live design sketching competition. On Friday, September 19 at Pensole Lewis College in Detroit, twenty-one emerging designers will battle head-to-head in a high-energy sneaker sketching showdown judged by industry leaders from Nike, Jordan, Converse, and more.
Typically centered on automotive design, Sketchbattle is stepping into footwear for the first time—bringing the same “Fight Club of Design” intensity into sneaker culture. Expect music, MCs, breakdancing, live crowd voting, and an atmosphere charged with creativity, culture, and career opportunity.
What makes this premiere unique: students and professional designers compete side-by-side, showcasing raw talent directly to the brands shaping the future of footwear and who are looking for talent.
