About the event
Common Thread: Creative Pathways is a networking event hosted by Pophouse interior design studio and the Society for Experimental Graphic Design (SEDG), Detroit chapter. This panel brings together the next generation of designers and the professionals shaping our city, with structured networking and an exclusive tour of Hudson’s Detroit. Attendees will walk away with insights into the multitudes of paths their design careers can take. Panel participants include Progressive Companies, Donut Shop, Pophouse, and Playground Detroit.
With a specific focus on experiential design, this tour of Hudson’s highlights spaces that weave together multiple design disciplines, showing the strongest projects are ones that tell a story. Projects of this scale do not come together without collaboration between highly skilled designers, architects, fabricators, and construction partners, highlighting how young professionals can get involved in design at any stage in the process.
