DISTINCT LIFE PRESENTS: INTRODUCING METAL FEET

Introducing Metal Feet is a two week installation at Social Status that explores the creative journey behind Rick Williams latest film and vinyl project. Centered around The Making of Introducing Metal Feet, the experience gives visitors a behind-the-scenes look at how tap dance, design, photography, and music came together to create the project. Presented through individual headphones, the film offers an intimate viewing experience that encourages visitors to slow down and engage with the work.

Beginning September 4th, Social Status will host Introducing Metal Feet, an immersive installation by Rick Williams as part of Detroit Month of Design.

Inspired by Rick's lifelong journey as a tap dancer, designer, photographer, and storyteller, Metal Feet explores the relationship between rhythm, movement, sound, and creativity.
