This event will present a curated view into the creative practices of Detroit-based alumni of the Cranbrook Academy of Art working across a wide range of disciplines including design, fine art, craft and architecture. Free from conventional classes and a fixed curriculum, Cranbrook Academy of Art has produced some of the leading artists, architects, and designers of our time. Their work has responded to complex questions, challenged our preconceptions, and helped us see the world in new ways.

Nearly 50% of Cranbrook alumni stay in Detroit, and over the past decade the number of alumni living and working in the city has continued to expand. This studio crawl offers a behind-the-scenes look at the creative processes of Cranbrook Academy of Art alumni and first access to their latest works.
