Pattern to Print: Textile Design Workshop

D'Artillery, in partnership with Scarlet Crane Creations, presents Pattern to Print, a 2-hour workshop exploring textile design and screen printing. Led by Shayla Johnson, printmaker and Scarlet Crane owner, participants will learn to create a repeating pattern and translate it into a hand-printed textile using stencil-based screen printing techniques. The workshop introduces key textile design methods while offering participants the opportunity to view and explore a range of pattern approaches for inspiration. Participants may bring a personal tetile item or choose from materials provided. All attendees will leave with a one-of-a-kind printed textile and a deeper appreciation for the creative possibilities of surface design. No prior experience is required.
