YayaLand Takeover IV- Light Installation

Colorful light installation along the Southwest Greenway

YayaLand Takeover IV was just recently installed along the Southwest Greenway, right in between the historical Train Station and the brand new Riverwalk extension/Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Centennial Park. This walkway has been transformed into an immersive, colorful environment that engages visitors on a sensory and emotional level. Using color as its primary medium, this project explores how light alone can shape atmosphere, influence movement and uplift mood.

UN SUSTAINABILITY GOALS

We use Detroit's UNESCO City of Design designation as a call to action for Detroiters to embrace the Sustainable Development Goals in their own communities, contributing to the active effort of solving global interconnected issues.
