About the event
The 6 Mile Street Festival is a celebration of local community, commerce, and culture. This outdoor celebration will include musical entertainment, family-friendly activities, and local artist showcases to spotlight the businesses and talent located in our corridor of the City of Detroit.
The event celebrates the 10-year anniversary of the Live6 Alliance, a community planning and development organization focused on Northwest Detroit, and the neighborhood's recent designation as a Michigan Main Street area.
Locals and visitors alike are invited to "Shop and See" our local businesses, activated by vibrant exhibitions and window installations created with artists and designers. Come celebrate our neighborhood's achievements, and establish and initiate a plan for the next 10 years and beyond.
