‘’FOR THE LOVE OF,, (FTLO) is a fashion design-driven incubator and annual runway presentation for emerging designers in Detroit. Selected designers interpret the theme ,,FOR THE LOVE OF…” in their own way, creating collections that reflect the mindset and craftsmanship of Detroit.

The 3rd annual FTLO runway presentation will introduce new Detroit-born and based fashion designers joining our selected designers from last year’s presentation. Building on the momentum from previous years, this year's show is continuing to raise the standards for how we showcase work in the city. Audience members can expect artisanal techniques, flawless fabrication, and refined tastes. FTLO’s goal is to help inspire new generations of designers that value the meticulous work of making garments as much as the freshness of their ideas. Last year’s mentored designers will be confidently presenting their second collection having learned and grown from the prior year’s experience.
