Unspooling Opening Night

Immerse yourself in a collaborative feedback loop where live video projections and musical compositions respond to one another in real time. This exhibition celebrates co-created art as healing, inviting performers and audience members to share in a collective experience of experimentation, connection, and community care.

The opening night (September 11) will feature King Sophia and Sasha G, who will co-create a live sonic score, accompanied by visuals generated from audience-augmented inputs into NeuroArts Production’s interactive brain visualizer and real-time motion graphics by Matilda AV. As the performance unfolds, sound influences image, image influences sound, and participants respond to one another in an evolving conversation across media. Following the live performance, Good Eric will spin vinyl selections on Welcome Welcome’s historic high-fi sound system as the tempo and tone transitions from an ambient resting space into one for playful movement.

Together, the performers, visuals, audio, and audience will create an experimental environment centered on presence, play, and shared experience.

Guests are welcome to walk about the space as they please and explore the installation. Yoga mats and some seating will be provided for those who wish to sit or lay down in the central immersive zone/dance floor beneath the projected volume and between the four speakers.
